My ideal kind of guy.

A guy who reads.
A guy who makes effort to fight for me.
A guy who is not skinny, wears glasses and healthy.
A guy who does not smoke.
A guy who reads.
A guy who loves his parents more than he loves me.
A guy who can make smart jokes with me.
A guy who can debate intelligently.
A guy who can make me smile without trying.
A guy who reads.
A guy who can make my heart skips a beat everytime i see his name.
A guy who thinks positively.
A guy who does not think badly of people.
A guy who is smart.
A guy who reads.
A guy who appreciates music and art.
A guy who supports feminism.
A guy who does not admire me like a queen.
A guy who does not do everything only for me.
A guy who reads.
A guy who drives.
A guy who kisses me when i least expect it.
A guy who holds my hands.
A guy who has close and reliable friends.
A guy whose heart is kind.
A guy who does not believe that religion is the solution to all problems.
A guy who does not need to try to be all of the above, for he already is.
A guy who can read a situation and react intelligently.
A guy who loves himself.
A guy who has self-confidence.
A guy who knows how to please a woman.
A guy who reads.
A guy who I can call life-partner, not only a husband.
A guy like that would make me the luckiest girl in the world.
Well, it's just an ideal.

Just a December 29

I have been very tired these days. I had counted how many assignments for the last 2 weeks of school..and it turned out I had 15 assignments. The presentations, reports, reflections, and translations.. I feel like dying. Last night, I just did 3 of them. And I only have less than a week for all the presentations. But in my busy days, I happen to receive happiness, too.

These are the chocolates I receive from my Malaysian friend. She is studying communication in University of Portsmouth in England. She's coming to Taiwan for Christmas and new year.

And this is a picture of my classroom. It does look like a normal high school classroom, not university's.

And this is a tree made of metal in Kaohsiung. I went there for a christmas party.. Then I took a picture!

Look at this cute lizard on my cream puff.

Good morning and have a nice day!

Hazelnut Latte

It's been cold today! I hope you keep yourselves warm, lovelies!

Yesterday I had an international organisation discussion class and teacher treated us coffee :) I had hazelnut latte with no sugar. It was delicious :)

I also got a small bean cake (talk about healthy lifestyle!) From a friend. She's a Taiwanese :)

Although I don't really fancy the teacher since he was very annoying..and he always talks to others about how bad my chinese is (in taiwanese)-too bad I understand,sir..- because of a good coffee, I had a good time on class.

This week is new year's eve..and I'm going to go to Yunlin to celebrate :) my friend invites me. What are you going to do on new year's eve? Have you written your new year's resolution? I'm going to write one soon. I hope you have a wonderful week.

Much love!!

Another internship.

After three days of midterm exams, I feel like dying....... not yet, one said. In the middle of my midterm exam I am going to another internship in Kaohsiung Food Show 2011.

One of a leading fruit-jam retailer in Indonesia hired me to be their interpreter. I am kind of nervous.. What if the spectators are important person? I am grateful that I had an internship at APEC because it helped me improve my formal Chinese speaking. But still I am... nervous lol I'm preparing everything right now, wish everything would go well tomorrow!

Another day with the rain

Greetings, lovelies. So, tomorrow I will go for my first internship ever (if teaching kids and playing piano in restaurants do not count) as a service for the APEC 42nd EWG Meeting in Kaohsiung Taiwan.
It takes place in Ambassador Hotel

It looks so gorgeous and it is a five star hotel so I expect good food 科科
I will be working along with my 4 classmates and my senior, and about 6 graduate students. One of those rare moments in which I feel little and small yet smart enough to work with them :')

But, today, I went to the swimming pool (swimming class, yea) and it rained on my way back. I did not take the bus or anything because I had my bicycle with me. In short, I got wet and sick. After I saw the dormitory I faced another disappointment because the student's canteen was closed. It was only 5pm wth. And so I had to think what to eat.. and not to mention it was raining quite hard so I honestly felt like just leave me alone in my bed because I WILL NOT BUDGE. Well thank God my friend helped me to buy a fish salad and a seaweed soup. Later today, my Taiwanese friend suddenly bought me a duck soup. It was bitter but warm and it felt really good. I then took a nap for like hours and I feel good now :) yay. I also had a lot of herbal medicine (like 2 bags of the liquid ones and one pill) and I was sweating like crazy.

I hope I will get better tomorrow!

a one-week chance

This following Saturday, October 15th, I am going to start working for APEC. For those who don't know what APEC is, it is
Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is a forum for 21 Pacific Rim countries (styled "member economies") that seeks to promote free trade and economic cooperation throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Established in 1989 in response to the growing interdependence of Asia-Pacific economies and the advent of regional economic blocs (such as the European Union) in other parts of the world, APEC works to raise living standards and education levels through sustainable economic growth and to foster a sense of community and an appreciation of shared interests among Asia-Pacific countries. Members account for approximately 40% of the world's population, approximately 54% of the world's gross domestic product and about 44% of world trade.(taken from Wikipedia)
Apparently, they are holding a meeting in Kaohsiung for a week. I am going to go there and guide them around.

Can't wait!

So, it's been exactly a month since my last post.

I've started a new semester and it is not the time to play and goof around like I used to on my freshman year. I'm now a sophomore (talk about growing old!). This semester, I took like about 23 credits overall. And I've just started my translation class. It's so hard it's unexplainable. After the class, my head always hurt and I immediately went back to dorm for a nap.

I also started working part-time.. which is nice and tiring. I got to know a lot of people, but yeah, not all of them are good.

Pictures updates when I feel like it.

Oh, and I think I'm gonna start a weightloss tumblr soon :) stay tuned!
